My name is Aleksei Eaves, and I am a electrical engineering student looking towards a career in firmware/embedded systems engineer.
I started as a computer science undergrad in 2023, but in this year I became much more interested in embedded systems, and computer science is not good enough to prepare a student for this field. So, I transferred to electrical engineering at the start of 2024, and have been satisfied with this decision. I aim to graduate sometime in the middle of 2027.
I recently joined the RMIT HIVE rocketry club, working on the on-board computer firmware.
